    We need many partners for our mission...

We have assurances from the villagers of San Antonio de le Nueva Esperanza that they will eagerly provide all labor necessary for construction, and will make sure there are qualified and trained individuals to serve as care givers, lab technicians and administrators. The Guatemalan government will continue to provide inoculations and medications.

In other villages we shall make the very same agreement. Thus the requisite monetary investment will be modest in relation to the profound impact we can have.

But we shall need to rely on support from many quarters:

   Grant makers to underwrite costs;
   Government officials in the U.S. and Central America to interface as needed;
   Experts in medicine and public health to tailor the program for each village;
   Medical equipment for laboratories, plus solar panels for power;
   Birth control injections that—injected every three months— will enable the women to
      practice successful family planning, as they long to do;
   Materials to build laboratories—cement and rebar;
   Internet and/or telephone service to connect providers with the outside;
   Elements required to construct suitable latrines and stoves;
   Projects and/or resources to pave the way for villagers to generate income for their
      emergency evacuation funds.
