 Nueva Salud is a new nonprofit organization whose mission
affects thousands of neglected, impoverished people.
Our mission is to introduce comprehensive hygiene
and basic medical care to isolated villages where uncontrolled
infections, parasites, and diarrhea are a permanent way of
life, and doctors are not within reach.
Other groups committed to health crusades around the
world have specific targets—like the eradication of AIDS or TB.
In contrast, Nueva Salud is dedicated to the lifetime basic
health of each and every individual.
And, most remarkably, we have found a way to introduce and
establish programs that the villagers themselves can build
and can sustain—one village at a time.
